「わたし語ポートフォリオ」for SPLE* (K-10) Workshop Session 2 (「できることファイル」)

Are you differentiating SPLE in class? Would you like to gain some ideas to accommodate advanced students now and in the future? This workshop enables K-10 teachers with SPL to identify SPLE, to differentiate the activities and to promote SPLE’s continuity of Japanese learning.  All K-10 teachers are welcome to attend this Term 3 K-10 workshop, especially those who (will) have at least one SPLE in your class.

 Let’s share ideas and experiences, as well as network. You are welcome to bring along some samples from your teaching to share in a supportive environment with other K-10 teachers with SPLE. 

• Prior to the workshop day, teachers have opportunities to watch the videos of related resources and to submit their experiences and opinions.  
• At the beginning of the workshop, teachers and presenter(s) share and acknowledge the issues that are related to SPLE and/or resources.  
• During the workshop, teachers practise the ethics of 「わたし語ポートフォリオ」together with the presenter(s), focusing on 「できることファイル (My ‘Can Do’ File) 」（one of the three parts of 「わたし語ポートフォリオ」）. 
• After the presentation, teachers collaborate to share more detailed experiences and more opinions and to seek the possibilities of incorporating 「できることファイル」 into their teaching in NSW schools.  

 Cost: free for JTAN members and $10 for non-members.
