Senior Skill Building – Extension Writing (After School Zoom Session)

This workshop has been made possible through funding from the Macquarie Japanese Studies Centre for Teaching Development (MJS Centre). On behalf of JTAN, we thank them for their support of Japanese teaching in Australian high schools.

This free after-school Zoom workshop aims to disseminate best practice from experienced teachers of Japanese Extension among our Japanese teaching community, with the goal of assisting students to succeed in answering Writing (Section 2) questions.

The workshop leader will present ideas/examples of relevant and effective pedagogy to develop student skill in this area, as well as providing a range of exemplars of a range of student achievement.

Please note that while this presentation may refer to language from the NESA syllabus outcomes, the presenters are not able to ascribe a mark to any exemplars used.

Further information, the Zoom link and course materials (digital) will be sent to registered participants prior to the workshop.

Unless advised, all JTAN workshops in 2021 will count as “Elective PL” for NESA purposes.
