❗This event is for TEACHERS to register themselves and their students with JTAN. If your students are paying their ticket costs directly to your school and you are purchasing tickets on their behalf, use this page. Event Information

JTAN is pleased to be able to offer an online version of our popular Kimi no Na wa Extension Workshop in in 2022. This event will differ slightly in timing and operation this year due to the use of the Zoom teleconferencing platform and so it is important for you to carefully read the information below when registering.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for teachers of the Extension course and their students to gain a deeper understanding of the new prescribed text Kimi no Na wa.

💴 Cost: $25.00 per student and per teacher.

08:30 – 08:50 Registration

08:50 – 09:00 Opening

09:00 –  11:00 Understanding the Film Techniques of “Your Name” 

Mr Damon Cooper (Anime Specialist)

11:00 – 11:15 Morning tea break

11:15 – 12:30 Responding to the Prescribed Text of “Your Name” – writing effectively from the perspective of the characters

Ms Sally Mizoshiri (North Sydney Girls High School)

📄 Digital handouts will be provided to all participants.

On the day:
Teachers and students must be familiar with the ‘Zoom’ application.
You need to login to Zoom promptly 10 min prior to the start of the workshop. You must make sure that your login name and email match the details given during registration or you will not be admitted to the main sessions.
