This workshop will give teachers the chance to collaborate on updating assessment practices and tasks to align with the continued implementation of the new 2017 Japanese K-10 Syllabus.
This workshop will be presented by Leanne Smith, a highly regarded language teaching consultant and Japanese teacher.
Description:
Train: Get off at St Leonards Station. Walk approximately 10 minutes along Pacific Highway towards the city
Buses: from Blue Street, North Sydney Station: Bus 200, 252, 254, 261, 286, 287, 290, 291, 343 or M20. Get off at Mater Hospital bus stop at the corner of Pacific Highway and Rockland Road, Crows Nest.

Materials to bring: A laptop or tablet device and charger, as well as assessment and reporting documents related to the stage you wish to work on e.g. scope and sequence, assessment schedule, unit of work etc. (preferably printed).
Completing this workshop will contribute 5 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 in the Australian in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. This workshop also accommodates Graduate Teachers and pre-service teachers.
