This collaborative workshop will enable teachers to better understand and explain the linguistic nuances in the prescribed extracts of ‘Kimi No Na Wa’. A number of prompt questions for each extract will be provided for discussion and as examples for teachers to use in lessons when analysing the language in the extracts. Film technique analysis has been covered in the Extension 2020-2024 Teacher & Student Workshop held on the 29th Feb 2020. Teachers who wish to attend are expected to be familiar with the extracts (have read through at least once) and be open to contributing their ideas and questions in groups on the day.
No availability for non-members or pre-service teachers. ONE teacher per school, maximum of 30 participants.
*Cost includes obento lunch (choice of meat, fish or vegetarian) as well as printed materials (colour printed bound booklet).
