JTAN is pleased to be able to offer an online version of our popular Beginners Speaking Day in 2022. This event will differ slightly in timing and operation this year due to the use of the Zoom teleconferencing platform and so it is important for you to carefully read the information below when registering.
**This event is for STUDENTS to register directly with JTAN. If you have paid your school then your TEACHER will register on your behalf**
You will get five (5) sets of 5 minute HSC style conversations + 3 minutes of feedback.
You will be allocated to one 50 minute session beginning at either 9am, 10am, 11:30am or 12:30pm or 2pm. It is not possible to give you a choice of session so you need to make sure you are able to join any one of these – one week prior to the event you will be advised of your allocated session one and provided with the link to access.
Zoom Pilot Testing for Participating Students: There will be an opportunity login to a testing session in Zoom. You are encouraged to login to this session to test your internet connection, microphone and camera.
On the day: You need to login no later than 10 minutes before your allocated session. You must make sure that your login name and email match the details given during registration or you will not be admitted to the main sessions.
This event has a limited number of tickets available. JTAN can not guarantee that a second speaking day will be held. Registrations close 8th June, depending on ticket availability.
Please inform your teacher, or email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible if there are any problems with or changes to your application. Please note standard JTAN terms and conditions apply to this event.
